Over a Decade of Bringing Holiday Cheer to Local Children in Kids Path Care
Established in 2013, Sam’s Wish Fund Holiday Cheer has helped provide holiday gifts and necessities to children and families served by Kids Path of AuthoraCare.
Children receiving support through Kids Path are facing serious illness, medical adversity, or the loss of a loved one. Through Holiday Cheer, our community comes together to ensure these children experience the joy, excitement, and magic of the holiday season.
By adopting a child or family, donating gifts, supporting a Giving Tree, or contributing essential household items, you help brighten the holidays for local children and families during some of life’s most challenging moments.
How you can help

Individuals, businesses, churches, civic clubs, schools, and community organizations can adopt a child or family for the holidays by purchasing items from their wish list.

For those who prefer to shop online, an Amazon Holiday Cheer List will be available beginning November 1, 2026. Items may be purchased and shipped directly to us for distribution to children and families served by Kids Path of AuthoraCare.

We are currently seeking businesses throughout our 13 county service area to serve as Holiday Cheer Giving Tree locations and gift drop-off sites.

During the holiday season, we will be collecting:
Gift cards to help families provide a holiday meal
Diapers
Baby wipes
Toilet paper
Paper towels
These donations help support children and families served by Kids Path of AuthoraCare and provide assistance during the holiday season. They can be dropped at Giving Tree Locations, shipped to us from our Amazon List or dropped at the 2026 Christmas Cruise-In (date to be determined)

Get Involved
If you would like to adopt a child or family, organize a collection drive, host a Giving Tree, become a drop-off location, or help through your church, civic club, school, business, or community group, we would love to hear from you. Together, we can help provide gifts, necessities, and holiday cheer to children and families served by Kids Path of AuthoraCare throughout our service area. Every gift donated helps make the season brighter for a child facing medical adversity or a family navigating difficult circumstances.
